Inflorescences short or elongate, pendent or rarely arching racemes from the base of the pseudobulbs. Flowers few to many. Sepals free, concave, spreading, subequal. Petals subequal to the sepals but usually nar-rower. Lip rhombic to ovate, or obovate-triangular, the lateral margins erect, the apex usually acute and spreading; disk with erect lamellae, or basal, elongate, denticulate processes. Column subarcuate, broadly winged or dilated. Anther terminal, operculate; pollinia 2, waxy.
