Herba debilis perennis tenerrima, e basi divaricato-ramosa, ramis ramulisque filiformibus, procumbentibus vel adscendentibus, squarrosis, angulatis, scabridis, basi remote foliatis, ad 30 cm longis; foliis minutis erectis, sessilibus linearibus vel lanceolato-linearibus acutis, marginibus revolutis, basi auriculato-unidentatis, internodiis nunc vix longioribus, nunc brevioribus; floribus albidis in ramulis divaricatis terminalibus singulis, erectis, breviter pedicellatis; bractea foliacea lanceolata acuta pedicelli fere longitudine; ovario oblongo glabro; calycis segmentis erectis linearibus acutis glabris ovario inferiori aequilongis, corollae tubo multo brevioribus; corolla c. 0.8 cm longa, lubo cylindrico glabro, lobis ovatis subacutis, patentibus, brevibus; staminibus corollae tubo supra basin insertis, erectis, filamentis filiformibus glabris, antheris 3-4-plo longioribus antheris anguste oblongis obtusis; stylo filiformi-subulato erecto, filamentis aequilongo infra apicem tenuiter puberulo, 0.5 cm longo; sligmate subcapitato; capsula ovoideo-elliptica glabra, 2 loculala, loculis 2-ovulatis.
