Leaves digitately 3-foliolate; leaflet with a short petiole, blade narrowly ovate, 60-120 x 15-30 mm, veins prominent, margins deeply and sharply toothed. Flowers: small, in dense terminal clusters; corolla light yellow; Feb., Mar. Fruit a dry, winged, reddish achene.
