Leaves spathulate-ovate, obtuse, cuneate at base; lamina 5–10 x 3–5 mm., entire to rarely obscurely crenate, margin somewhat revolute, appearing thickened, indumentum much denser beneath.
Subshrubby perennial herb c. 8 cm tall, totally, finely pubescent except for flowers; stems procumbent with main branches quadrangular, up to at least 24 cm. long, much branched.
Calyx 2–3 mm. long, lobes 1.8–2.6 mm. long, narrowly triangular, subequal.
Capsule 4.5–5.5 mm. long including beak, minutely pubescent.
Pedicels c. 5 mm. long, reflexed in fruit.
Petiole up to 5 mm. long, narrowly winged.
Bracteoles c. 1 mm. long, subulate.
Flowers solitary.
