Characteristics

Grey-hoary shrub, with young stems and leaves densely covered in greyish, stellate hairs. Leaves: lamina obovate, 3–5 mm long, 1.5–3 mm wide, base obtuse, margin revolute, apex deeply bilobed and recurved; petiole 0.5–1 mm long; stipules broadly triangular to ovate, 1–2.5 mm long, free or connate at base. Inflorescences to 0.5 cm wide, with 1–5 flowers. Flowers densely pubescent with pale grey, stellate hairs. Hypanthium without a free tube, 0.9–1 mm diam. Sepals 0.8–1 mm long. Petals 0.5–0.6 mm long, distinctly clawed. Disc conspicuous. Ovary roof stellate-hairy; style 0.4–0.5 mm long. Mature fruit and seeds not seen.
