Characteristics

Low and spreading shrub 0.1–0.15 m high, with a dense indumentum of appressed or antrorse simple hairs on young stem. Leaves conduplicate at first but opening fully; lamina obovate to very broadly obovate, 8–17 mm long, 4–8 mm wide, base cuneate, margin flat, apex obtuse, mostly with a slight apical point, glabrous above or with hairs along midrib, appressed white-pubescent below; petiole 3–4 mm long; stipules long-acuminate, 5–6 mm long, connate at base for c. half or most of their length. Inflorescence to 14 mm wide, few-or many-flowered, floral leaves absent. Flowers densely white woolly. Hypanthium tube c. 3 mm long. Sepals c. 1.3 mm long. Petals c. 0.6 mm long, distinctly clawed. Disc apparently absent. Ovary summit glabrous; style c. 3.8 mm long. Fruit c. 2 mm long. Seed c. 1.5 mm long.
