Leaves soft; petiole terete, 12-14 cm long; lamina divaricately and intricately divided up to 10 times; ultimate segments straight to slightly curved, very slender, 2-4 mm long. Scape at least 45 cm long (not seen complete), sparsely branched; stems ±straight; heads 9 mm diam.; bracts ovate, obtuse to ±acute, 1.5 mm long, closely tomentose. Perianth 4.5-5 mm long; limb broader than tube. Nut not seen.
