Characteristics

Branches long, slender, pubescent; leaves alternate, imbricate, lanceolate, acute, semiamplexicaul, 5-6 lin. long, 1-1.25 lin. wide, sparingly pilose, ciliate, at length glabrous; bracteoles small, narrowly linear, obtuse, ciliate; calyx 9-10 lin. long; tube slender, rather pilose, campanulate above; lobes oblong, acute; petals 12, twice as long as the surrounding hairs.
