Symphionema paludosum R.Br.

Shrub to 60 cm tall. Leaves mostly trifid or 1-or 2-pinnatisect; upper leaves sometimes undissected, linear; segments ±terete, 0.5-1.5 mm wide. Inflorescence 1-8 cm long. Perianth segments 4-5 mm long, pale yellow. Achene c. 2 mm long.

Grows usually in wet heath, or in open woodland or open forest, usually in sandy soils, at altitudes mostly below 800 m, rarely to 1200 m.
