Characteristics

Plants single, forming a small clump. Roots flat in cross-section, dull green, 50–100 × 1.5–2 mm, appressed to host. Stems c. 1 mm long. Racemes increasing in length as flowering progresses; scape 12–25 mm long, thread-like, glabrous; rachis zigzagged, thicker than peduncle, smooth. Floral bracts projecting at right angles, all in 1 plane. Flowers c. 2.5 × 2.5–5 mm, green, opening one at a time. Sepals and petals somewhat fleshy, joined at base then free and spreading. Dorsal sepal c. 2 × 0.7 mm. Lateral sepals c. 2 × 0.6 mm. Petals c. 1.8 × 0.6 mm, ovate. Labellum c. 2 × 0.5 mm, narrowly triangular, apex acute with an inflexed apical tooth; spur c. 1 mm long, nearly globose, curving away from labellum, glabrous.
