Characteristics

Pseudobulbs conical, 40–70 × 7–10 mm, crowded, dark green, fleshy, with single, terminal leaf. Leaf on stalk 30–50 mm long, 100–160 × 40–60 mm, smooth, dark green, shiny. Flower stem 200–350 mm long, thin, base swollen, 3–14-flowered. Flowers well-spaced, 13–18 × 20–25 mm, greenish white to yellowish with red to purple central stripes, column pale green. Dorsal sepal 9–12 × 3–4 mm, erect, apex recurved. Lateral sepals 9–12 × 3–4 mm, widely spreading. Petals 9–12 × 3–4 mm, projected forward beside column. Labellum decurved, attached to apex of column foot by short, motile claw. Labellum lamina 3-lobed, 7–8 × 5–6 mm, white or yellow with 2–3 red to purple ridges; lateral lobes nearly triangular, erect; midlobe broadly triangular, tip recurved.
