Female flowers: pedicels 3–4 mm long, pubescent; sepals 1 mm long, triangular, subacute, pubescent without, glabrous within, green; petals 3–4 × 2.5 mm, suborbicular, rounded, glabrous, pale yellow or creamy-green; disk 1.5 mm in diameter; ovary 1.5–2 mm in diameter, densely fulvous-tomentose; styles 1–1.5 mm long.
Male flowers: pedicels up to 4 mm long, glabrous; calyx lobes 2–3 × 2 mm, ovate, obtuse, pubescent without, glabrous within; petals 3–3.5 × 2–2.5 mm, obovate-suborbicular, rounded, glabrous without, pubescent within at the base, creamy-white; disk glands subglobose; stamens 4–5 mm long, anthers 1 mm long, white.
Leaf blades 4–13 × 2–7 cm, elliptic-ovate, acuminate at the apex, entire or subentire on the margins, cuneate to rounded or ± truncate at the base, firmly chartaceous to thinly coriaceous, glabrous except for the domatial hair tufts on lower surface; main nerves 3–5 from the base, lateral nerves in 5 pairs.
Male inflorescences up to 23 cm long; bracts resembling the stipules, but slightly larger.
Fruit 1–1.5 × 0.9–1.4 cm, ± smooth or shallowly muricate, evenly pubescent.
Seeds 9 × 6.5 mm, ovoid-ellipsoid, smooth, ± shiny, dark brown.
Female inflorescences up to 19 cm long; bracts 1-flowered.
Trunk buttressed, or slightly fluted at the base.
