Leaves close; petioles dark castaneous or atropurpureous, abaxially at least upward sharply bi-angular and pale-angled, c. 25 cm long, about as long as the lamina. Lamina oblong, simply pinnate, with 8-12 pinnae to a side and a conform terminal one; rachis like the upper part of the petiole or paler.
