Leaves paired, sometimes anisophyllous or with one not developed; blades narrowly elliptic or sometimes lanceolate, 6.5–10.5 cm. long, 2–3.2 cm. wide, acuminate at apex, acute to attenuate at base; domatia inconspicuous; petioles 3–5 mm. long; stipules triangular, 2 mm. long, obtuse to acute, turning dark, perhaps rather swollen when fresh.. Inflorescences slender, apparently terminal (but axillary to apical bud), terminal on reduced lateral branches or axillary; inflorescence-branches present or suppressed; apparent pedicels 0.8–1.5 cm. long, but true pedicels much shorter; bracteoles small.. Calyx-tube ± 1 mm. long; limb ± 1 mm. long, top third divided into rounded lobes, not overlapping.. Mature corolla not known.. Placenta bearing 3–4 impressed ovules. Fruit drying blackish, 5 mm. in diameter, crowned by persistent calyx-limb.. Seeds light brown, ± 4 per fruit, ± 3 mm. long, smooth with oval excavation.
