Characteristics

In shape of lamina very near T. brooksii Copel., but thinner; basal scales to 8 mm long, very narrowly attenuate; largest lamina seen 16 cm long from attachment to stipe to the rather narrrowly acuminate apex; free veinlets lacking in costal and costular arcoles and very few, unbranched, in other arcoles; sori exindusiate, irregular, nearly all ± elongate along veins, those on the outer veins of costal areoles longest.
