Sprawling shrublet, up to 1.2 m tall. Leaves opposite, with winged petioles ± half-clasping stem, ovate-lanceolate, finely toothed, shiny. Flowers in axillary or terminal cymes, corolla ± tubular, lobes outspread, mauve to pink. Fruit globose, purplish black.
Leaves 3–13 x (0.8)1.8–6 cm., oval, ovate to broadly elliptic, obtuse or acute, abruptly or gradually narrowed in the short petiolate, subauriculate base, serrulate or denticulate; petioles up to 1.75 cm. long, winged, decurrent at base.
Shrublet, up to 1 m high. Leaves opposite, ovate, 60-80 x 30-50 mm, denticulate. Cymes dense and leafy. Fruit a globose berry, 7-8 mm in diameter, purplish black. Flowers purple.
