Leaves spirally arranged, congested at the ends of the branchlets; lamina 9–22 x 6·5–14 cm., obovate, apex rounded or retuse, base cuneate and ± decurrent into the petiole, golden-yellow-tomentellous; lateral nerves 10–14 pairs, prominent.
