Leaves borne on the spur shoots; lamina obovate-elliptic to narrowly obovate-elliptic, up to 6 cm. long and 3 cm. wide, apex rounded to obtuse, base cuneate, coriaceous, nearly glabrous, glaucous green above, yellowish green beneath; lateral nerves 4–5 pairs; petiole up to 4 mm. long.. Inflorescences up to 8 cm. long; peduncle glabrous.. Flowers whitish, glabrous outside.. Fruit purple-pink or brown, elliptic, 2.3–4 cm. long, 1.6–3 cm. wide, glabrous; apical peg absent; stipe 5–7 mm. long.. Cotyledons 2, with petioles 2–4 mm. long, borne above soil-level.
