Leaves 3-foliolate; petiole 6-9 cm; central petiolule 2-3 cm, lateral petiolules 1-2 cm, densely ferruginous pubescent; leaflets abaxially pubescent on veins; central leaflet obovate-elliptic, 12.5-26 × 6.5-12 cm, base broadly cuneate, margin entire on lower part, 7-9-toothed on upper part, apex acuminate; lateral leaflets ovate-elliptic, 10-21 × 5-11 cm, base asymmetric, subrounded or broadly cuneate, margin 5-9-toothed on each side, entire near base or on lower half, apex cuspidate. Inflorescence cymose and axillary, with 1 or 2 nodes and bracts; peduncle 3-10 cm, densely ferruginous pubescent. Pedicel 1-3 mm, densely pubescent.
