Bracts shortly adnate to peduncle. Flowers minute, white. Perianth with cylindric tube; segments triangular, ± 1 mm long, hooded. Disc conspicuous. Flowering time Sept.-Jan. Fruit ellipsoid, ± 3 mm long, including persistent perianth; ribbed, reticulate between ribs.
