Flowers solitary, terminating short (c. 2–15 mm long) sparsely scaly spreading brachyblasts ± racemosely arranged, though the branchlet bearing brachyblasts may itself terminate in a flower.
Bracts 5 or 6 forming an involucre immediately below the flower, c. 1.3 × 0.7–0.8 mm, ovate-cuspidate, thick-textured, margins membranous, ciliolate.
