Inflorescences of few-flowered, terminal heads. Bracts leaflike. Perianth ± 4 mm long; segments triangular, acute, ± 3.5 mm long. Flowering time Oct., Nov. Fruit oblong-ovoid, up to 6 mm long, including thick, closed perianth; 10-ribbed, reticulation not strongly demarcated.
