Flowers: sessile, solitary in axils of bracts in racemes; bracts slightly adnate to peduncle, narrowly linear-ovate, apices very acute, longer than flowers; perianth with prominent tube, not bearded, 2.6 mm long with conspicuous external glands, segments ovate or narrowly ovate, apices subacute, hooded, margins incurved, slightly papillose; greenish white; Nov.-Jan. Fruit ± 2 mm long.
