Woody, erect or sprawling, hemiparasitic shrublet, up to 200 mm tall. Leaves leathery, thick, oblong, channelled above, keeled beneath, greyish, tips mucronate. Flowers in crowded spikes becoming lax later, whitish; perianth with a ring of short, down-turned hairs in tube.
