Characteristics

Rootstock small; roots fibrous. Leaves apparently perennial, 20-30, linear, terete, 5-10 cm long, 4-5 mm wide at base, bluish-glaucous at base, sometimes reddish towards tips. Inflorescence paniculate, 17-21 cm long, 4-or 5-branched in upper 4-5 cm; umbels to 10-flowered, in fruit each axis may become 6-8 mm long; pedicels 6-7 mm long, articulated 2-3.5 mm from base, nodding in fruit. Perianth segments 12-13 mm long. Sepals linear-lanceolate, 2-2.5 mm wide, shortly mucronate. Petals elliptic, 5-7 mm wide; fimbriae 4-6 mm long. Stamens 3; anthers c. 7 mm long, curved; filaments one long, two short. Style curved, c. 6 mm long. Seeds not known.
