Characteristics

Frutex ramosus, ramulis glabratis novellis stellato-puberulis, foliis alternis tenuiter coriaceis ovato-lanceolatis acuminatis glabris reticulatis petiolatis, inflorescentia terminali v. axillari breviter pedunculata, floribus capitatim congestis breviter spicatisve subsessilibus v. brevipedicellatis, calycis limbo ‘stivatione clauso mox 3-v. 2-fido intus glabro extus pilis ferrugineis stellatis sparsis pubescente. Frutex 4-10 pedalis. Folia 2 1/4-3 poll. longa, 2/3-1 1/4 poll. lata; petiolus 1/3 poll. longus. Alabastra obovoidea. Petala plana, elongato-linearia, 3/4-1 poll. longa, 1 1/2-2 lin. lata. Stamina calyce breviora; anther‘ apiculat‘ filamento s‘pius longiores. Ovarium apice hirsuto libero.
