Stipules under 1 cm. long, attached for half to two-thirds of their length, the free tips tapering gradually into long filiform points; petiole 1–5 cm. long; leaflets oblanceolate, acute or rarely rounded at the tip, up to 20 by 6 mm.; teeth fairly large; main nerves 5–7 on each side, at 20°–30° to the midrib.. Inflorescences 1–6-flowered; peduncle 1–4 cm. long; bracts minute; pedicel 1–2 mm. long..
