Characteristics

Differs from the most erect long-leaved forms of T. simense in the leaflets being densely silky pilose beneath, sparingly so above, and quite entire at the margin, or sometimes with 1 or 2 teeth below the middle of the leaflet.. The calyx is rather densely pilose and has 11–14 nerves.. The ovary is sparsely pilose towards the apex.
