Flowers: perianth lavender, 16–27 mm, tube funnelform-campanulate, acute at base, 7–12 mm, lobes erect, 9–15 mm; stamens attached alternately at 2 levels, equal; filaments triangular, widest at base, 2 mm, apical appendages absent; anthers purple, 1.5 mm; ovary white, equal to stipe; pedicel 3–8 cm. 2n = 16.
