Characteristics

male flowers solitary or 2–4 in sessile or shortly pedunculate axillary fascicles; bracts usually absent, when present up to 1·5 mm. long; pedicels 4·5–30 mm. long. Receptacle-tube 9·5–16 mm. long, sparsely finely pilose, lobes up to 1 mm. long. Corolla-lobes 5–13 mm. long, greenish-yellow.
