Characteristics

Shrub to 1 m high, with greyish stellate pubescence on young stems. Leaves: stipules triangular, 0.9–1.5 mm long, persistent; petiole 0.3–0.5 mm long; lamina narrowly elliptic to narrowly obovate, 2–4 mm long, 0.7–1 mm wide, base cuneate, entire, revolute, apex obtuse and apiculate, sparsely stellate-hairy above, densely so below. Inflorescences few-flowered, dense; bracts persistent. Pedicels 0.2–0.3 mm long. Flowers cream. Hypanthium 0.8–1 mm diam., densely stellate-hairy. Sepals 0.9–1.1 mm long, sparsely pubescent. Petals 0.5–0.6 mm long. Stamens 0.5–0.6 mm long. Disc and ovary roof stellate-pubescent; carpels 3; style 0.4–0.6 mm long. Fruits not seen.
