Small liana (size not indicated, “climbing over bushes and small trees”); stems pubescent with T-shaped hairs.. Leaves petiolate, elliptic or slightly obovate, 3.3-10.5 cm long, 1.2-3.6 cm wide, base cuneate, margins entire to coarsely serrate with few apiculate teeth, apex obtuse, minutely apiculate or obscurely acuminate, dark green, smooth, thinly shortly pubescent above and beneath; petiole 0.6-1.4 cm long.. Capitula in terminal and axillary rather dense corymbiform cymes; involucre ± cylindrical, 7-10 mm long; phyllaries 4-seriate, appressed or in fruit slightly spreading, sometimes purple-tinged, ovate or broadly ovate, rounded, shortly apiculate, the inner 6-7.6 mm long.. Corolla white, 7-7.5 mm long, lobes 2-2.5 mm long, with a few slender apical hairs.. Achenes 4.5-5.3 mm long, acutely 6-8-ribbed, glabrous; outer pappus scant, 0.7 mm long, inner pappus white, 8.5-9.5 mm long.
