Leaves sessile, oblanceolate-elliptic, 12 cm long, 3 cm wide, cuneate into short petioloid base, margins finely serrate, apex acuminate, apiculate, rather coriaceous, subglabrous.. Capitula numerous in compound terminal corymbiform cymes; involucre 6-6.5 mm long, 5-flowered; phyllaries 3-4-seriate, ovate, the inner narrowly (ob-)ovate, 5.7-6.3 mm long, acuminate-apiculate, ciliate on margins in upper part, the apices of outer and median recurving..
