Characteristics

A tree. It grows 7-18 m tall. The branches are slender and 4 sided. The leaves are opposite. The leaves are compound with 3-4 leaflets arranged like fingers on a hand. The leaflets are narrowly oval and taper to the base. They can be wavy along the edges. The middle leaflets are 10-20 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The flower panicles are 20-28 cm long. There are many flowers. The fruit are round and red and 7 mm across.
