Branchlets terete, slender, with longitudinal ridges, pilose and lanate with white hairs; tendrils unbranched or bifurcate. Leaves simple; stipules caducous; petiole 1.6-3 cm, pilose and lanate; leaf blade oval or ovate-elliptic, 5.5-6.9 × 3.6-4.8 cm, abaxially densely gray-white tomentose, adaxially sparsely pubescent on veins, basal veins 5, lateral veins 3 or 4 pairs, veinlets inconspicuously raised, base truncate, margin 7-12-toothed on each side, teeth fine and sharp, apex acuminate.
