Origin: in Riverside County, Calif, by Luther C. Hahn and Joseph Maranto, Superior Farming Co. Introd. in 1983 as Sugrafive. Plant patent 5151; 6 Dec. 1983; assigned to Superior Farming Co. Bud mutation of Superior Seedless; discovered in 1978. Berry: slightly smaller than Superior Seedless; similar in color and shape; ripens with Perlette, 7-10 days before Superior Seedless; develops a very mild muscat flavor when very ripe.
