Cultivation

Very large, deep black-red muscadine table grape. Origin: Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, by Z. Ren, J. Lu, and V. Tsolova. Supreme × Black Beauty, crossed 1998; tested as O26-1-2. Tree: Fruit: berry very large, 16.2 g; skin black-red (RHS 82A-83A), edible; flesh firm, greenish yellow (RHS 151D); 15.2 °Brix, 3.57 pH, 3.8 g/l TA; seeds/berry 3.3; flavor pleasant, fruity, with typical muscadine aroma; harvest 20 Aug. to beginning of September; incidence of wet scar low; shelf life long. Cluster: dense, 4-15 berries.
