Origin: in Geneva, N.Y., by A.B. Stout, New York State Agr. Expt. Sta., in cooperation with the New York Botanical Garden. Introd. in 1952. Ontario × Sultanina; cross made in 1928; selected in 1935; propagated in 1939; tested as N.Y. 15310. Cluster: large; very long; poorly filled. Berry: small; oval; greenish-yellow, translucent; small, soft seeds; flesh tender, juicy, melting; vinousflavored; quality good; ripens early, 1 week before Fredonia; resembles Interlaken Seedless.
