A high-yielding, late-ripening red-wine grape that maintains high acidity in a warm climate. Origin: Ceres, CA, by F. Triplett. T213-13 × T42-36; tested as F1-13; introd. 2007. Tree: Fruit: blue-black, oval, medium, 1.9 g; averaged 21.4 ° Brix, 1.15 g/L titratable acidity, pH 3.3; wines light bodied, color is light to medium, low to medium tannin levels, aromas of strawberries and raspberries. Cluster: medium-large, 360 g/cluster; well-filled; often winged; peduncles short to medium, often lignified.
