Red, seedless table grape, an early ripening sport of Emperor. Origin: in Delano, Calif., by John A Buska. Plant patent 6760, 25 Apr. 1989; assigned to Dan Tudor and Sons. Berry: two naturally occurring seed traces per berry that are visually detectable, but following treatment with gibberellic acid and girdling are substantially undetectable; berry large (naturally 4.4 g; treated with gibberellic acid and girdling 5.7 g); neutral flavor; crisp; matures 10-14 days before Emperor.
