Characteristics

Perennial herb, erect, 0.15-0.50 m high. Leaves sessile, many, linear to filiform, entire or lower leaves sparsely dentate, crowded, often clustered. Flowers: in a lax inflorescence, on long pedicels; corolla tube hairy inside, half the length of the corolla, blue; stigma lobes without glands; Jan.-Jul.
