Characteristics

Caulis erectus, a basi ramosus, pilosissimus, superne subramosus, glabrescens, cr. 40-60 cm longus. Folia alterna, sessilia, parte caulis inferiore conferta, caulem laxe investientia, ovalia usque late lanceolata apice ± acuta, margine subincrassata, dentibus singulis exiguis ornata, pilosissima, cr. 15-25 mm longa, 6-10 mm lata. Flores longissime pedicellati, pedicellis cr. 14-15 cm longis, saepius longioribus, ovarium 2-loculare, obovatum vel anguste fusiforme, glabrum, cr. 7 mm longum, 3 mm crassum; calycis laciniae valde elongatae, anguste lanceolatae, acutissimae edentatae, glabrae, margine subincrassatae, haud involutae, capsula fere duplo longiores, cr. 16-18 mm longae, 1-1.5 mm latae; corolla campanulata, ad dimidium longitudinis laciniata, laciniis late ovatis, apice subacutis, cr. 13-14 mmlonga; filamenti basis valde dilatata, rhomboideo-ovalis, ab utroque latere subcuneata, cr. 1.5-plo altior quam latior; antherae elongatae, apice subobtusae, cr. 6-7 plo longiores quam latiores; stilus erectus, valde elongatus, gracilis, apice subincrassatus, corollam longitudine adaequans; stigmatis lobi 2, robusti, elongati, dilatati, apice rotundati, subinvoluti, cr. 3-4 plo longiores quam latiores, basi glandulis 2 evolutis. Capsula 2-locularis, longe obovata vel anguste fusiformis, cuneata, glabra, cr. 8-10 mm longa, 3-4 mm crassa, parte superiore anguste conica, apice acuta, basi dilatata, calycis laciniis fere 1/8 longitudine adaequante.
