Characteristics

Herba perennis, tenuis; caules laxe caespitosi, c. 40-150 mm longi, simplices, filiformes, puberuli, foliati. Folia c. 6-13 x 1 mm, linearia vel anguste oblanceolata, apice acuto, basi semiamplectente, marginibus parce ciliatis, axillis quibusdam brachyblastis praeditis. Flores solitam, terminales, pedicello ad   longo. Calyx lobis 5-6 x 0.7  linearibus acutis marginibus interdum pauciciliatis. Corolla infundibuliformis, 9-11 mm longa; lobi 4.5-6 x 3 mm elliptici, apiculati, laete purpureo-caerulei. Filamenta c. 2 mm longa, parte superiore 0.75 mm filiformi, parte inferiore expansa elliptico-oblonga l.25 x 0.7  marginibus ciliatis; antherae l.75 mm longae. Ovarium pro parte maxima inferum, c. 3 x 2 mm, glabrum, triloculare; stylus 3.5 mm longus, eglandulosus, parte superiore 2.75 mm stigmata includente barbata, cetera glaber; stigmata c.lmm longa. Capsula non visa.
