Stem much-branched, subpilose at the base; branches glabrous, filiform; leaves scattered, linear-acuminate, entire, with revolute margins, subpilose; pedicels capillary, opposite the leaf, often paniculate at top of the branches; tube of calyx glabrous or minutely rough, obconical, lobes linear, acute, erect, shorter than the tube; corolla tubular, 5-cleft at the apex, one half longer than the calyx; capsule obovoid, narrow.
