Characteristics

Stem much branched from the base, diffuse, hairy at the base, glabrous above; branches divaricate, dichotomous; leaves petiolate, ovate, acute, membranous, glabrous, coarsely dentate, upper ones lanceolate; bracteae minute, linear or wanting; calyx glabrous, tube hemispherical, twice shorter than the linear acuminate lobes; corolla infundibuliform, sub 5-fid, twice longer than the calycine-lobes capsule ovoid, 3-celled.
