Characteristics

Perennial, erect herb, 0.4-0.7 m high. Leaves many, elliptic to lanceolate, apex obtuse to acute, margins flat, sparsely hairy. Flowers: in a lax inflorescence, pedicellate; corolla with distinct tube, blue to mauve to almost white; Jan.-Mar.
