Glabrous or nearly so; stems ascendent, subcaespitose, as well as the branches filiform, tetragonal; leaves opposite, approximate at the base, ovato-lanceolate, or linear lanceolate, acute, with incrassate, revolute, quite entire margins, glabrous or hairy on the middle nerve beneath; peduncles terminal or axillary, solitary, naked; tube of calyx glabrous, obconical; lobes lanceolate-acuminate, erect; corolla infundibuliform,5-fid, longer than the calyx-lobes; capsule obconical.
