Characteristics

Caulis erectus, basi et superne ramosus, subpilosus, cr. 20 cm longus. Folia aitema, sessilia, caulem laxe investienUa, anguste lanceolata, apice subobtusa, apice acuieos non gerentia, margine valde incrassata, edentata, subinvoluta, pilosa, cr. 4-5 mm Ionga, 1/4 mm lata. Flores breviter pedicellati, pedicellis cr. 4-5 mm longis; ovarium 3-loculare, anguste obovatum, basi ± acutum, pilis brevibus ornatum, fere 1 mm longum, 3/4 mm crassum; calycis laciniae anguste lanceolatae, apice acutissimae, aculeos non gerentes, margine valde incrassatae, edentatae, involutissimae, non pilosae, cr. 2 mm longae, 1/4-1/2 mm latae; corolla subtubulosa, parum laciniata, laciniis fere 1/2-plo longioribus quam latioribus, apice subacutis, cr. 8 mm Ionga, laciniis cr. 1 1/2 mm longis; filamenti basis gracilis, paullo dilatata, anguste lanceolata, valde elongate, fere 8-plo longior quam latior; antherae elongatae, apice subobtusae; stilus erectus, gracilis, apice haud incrassatus, corollae fere 3/4 longitudine adaequans; stigmatis lobi 3, tenues, elongati, apice subobtusi, subinvoluti. Capsula 3-locularis, obovata usque fusiformis, cuneata, subpilosa, 4 mm Ionga, cr. 2 1/2-3 mm crassa, parte superiore late conica, apice non acuta, deplanata, calycis laciniis fere dimidium longitudine adaequante.
