Leaf hairy, broad. Flower stem 200–300 mm tall, hairy, 1–2-flowered. Flower 35–40 mm across, pinkish purple, lighter externally, labellum pinkish purple, apex whitish, calli yellow, column purplish. Sepals and petals ovate-lanceolate, to 20 × 5 mm. Labellum heart-shaped, obscurely 3-lobed; lateral lobes entire; midlobe recurved. Calli c. 12 pairs; basal calli larger, golden yellow; main calli in 2 rows, lower ones yellow, the rest cream.
