Leaf-lamina 1·5–7·5 × 0·3–7·0 cm., membraneous to sub-coriaceous, triangular, broadly ovate, ovate, narrowly triangular, lanceolate or linear in outline, cordate or sagittate or sometimes (when narrower) rounded at the base, scabrid-punctate above, sparsely to densely setulose, hispid or scabrid-setose on veins beneath, plane or ± sinuate and obscurely and remotely to prominently denticulate at the margins, unlobed or usually palmately 3–5-lobed, the lobes ovate or broadly to narrowly triangular, the central largest, usually ± acuminate, obtuse to acute, apiculate, the lateral shorter.
